Hi squib - long time reader, first time comment(er)! am loving your blog but felt compelled to reply to this one… i almost replied after the miniature birthday theme and to your great music reviews but didn’t (e-shy?!) - but these are extra strength cute and i MUST have some immediately! i am handy in so many ways but not in the using punctuation & grammar while typing nor in the crafty to impress my littlens type way… may i ask that i have some instructions (although i’m sure the pic is supposed to ‘illustrate’ what to do but it’s as clear as a map to me!) or can i live vicariously thru you and you send me some - i will pay handsomely with money order or directly to you, you clever clever chicken!
here’s hoping
They are adorable! I’ve got a little pile of fabric all ready for you that I’m going to add to over the next few days, as I clear up some of the fabric clutter that has taken over the dining room. Thanks so much for the photos. I’m with Mr Sq - sell them!
You can get packs of five different small pliers for making things with at Dick Smith, only about $20 I think. There’s a wire cutter and all different pliers in a little case. Very useful for making jewellery etc.
Oh, those are sweet. I like the little Japanese girls in kimonos the best. The two youngest stepgirls are really into Japanese stuff and Anime.
I’ll have a look at the instructions and see if its possible to make them on the weekend with the girls without anyone getting stabbed or doing damage with the scissors.
Did I tell you about the time I was wrapping a Christmas present late on Christmas Eve? I was cutting the wrapping paper and cut right through my delicate, ultra-sexy negligee (oh alright, I cut a bleeding great hole in my flannel granny gown). I’m not that great with scissors…

I wish I still had me long hair so that I could wear one in a pony tail.

Thanks Lill! I haven’t sent the SAE yet because I ran out of hair elastics on the weekend

Very nice. How much are the scissors and those handy little tweezers?
10 squib // Jul 22, 2008 at 12:10 pm
They are jewellery wire cutters and needle nose pliers, about $8 each… why?
