[If you’ve just tuned in to this exciting serial, this is about my time in Switzerland, written age 11 - hence the poor spelling which has vastly improved since then - after never having been there, Switzerland that is]
Day 2
At 8.00 a man came around ringing a bell and carring a delisious tray with steaming Kassuppe (cheese soup) and warm milk straight from the goats that morning. The man explained this in slow French with an occasional English word. It was delisious!
After I got dressed I put 42 francs in a purse (not a money-belt as I strongly believe in the Swisses’ honoursty). I then caught a taxi to the Swiss National museum. 20 francs plus a tip of five! The museum wasn’t that enthralling to me, mainly history stuff.
I went back to the hotel 20 minutes later by bus this time. I went to the tourist office and booked a four hour trip down lake Zurich on a steamboat after lunch. After I’d had a beautiful lunch at the hotel, which I might add only costs 50 francs a night food included, I went down to the big landing at Lake Zurich. The scenery from the boat was amazing and I stood up and yelled beautiful!
That night I went to a quiet restaurant called Veltiner Keller. One of the foods I had was fondue which was served in a pimkin on top of a flame. I’ve had a great day and am now going to sleep. zzzz

I admit that whole bit about the money belt is just a bit WEIRD but otherwise I think this is a perfectly normal imaginary trip

Yep. That’s the trouble with them. They are full of all these old things cluttering the places up.
Will they never learn?
