I know they probably thought these were close enough to looking like dinosaurs but that is exactly the kind of mediocrity that does not bode well for our nation. Do these look like any dinosaurs you’ve ever seen?

Umn, yeah kind of, to me. But my imagination’s used to being stretched to its outer limits on a frequent basis anyway.

I’ve never heard of that cereal, but suppose it won’t make it over here before becoming extinct.
I think “Dinosaur” was too generic a name - they sort of look like a short-necked Brontosaurus, but could never pass for a T-Rex.
This seems to be the norm when it comes to breakfast cereals - the marshmallow bits in Lucky Charms are too undefined to look like proper shamrocks.
I suppose they expect you’ll just shovel the stuff in your mouth without inspection. Boy, did they get that wrong, eh?

Oh my! I thought the bit on the right was the head but the more I look at it, the more it appears to be the tail
If I cover one eye and then the other and roll my eyeballs ever so slightly they do in fact begin to resemble dinosaurs

They are jelly {or in this case, wheat} babies without any heads.
They realise that everyone always bites the heads off first so they’ve done the first bit for us.
