I can’t believe we missed this place when we were in Toronto earlier this month. To think, I could have bought a bag with fried egg eyes and a sausage mouth or a cupcake-shaped soap …
Nought special? On a clear day you can see Niagara Falls - spectacular view of the great lake, as well. I’m sure had they known you were coming they would have put up the special bunting.
Eiffel Tower is a rusty hunk of steel and not even very tall. Granted, Squib’s miniature is cute. Almost as cute as my miniature CN Tower.
The CN tower was a bit more impressive than the Empire State building, I thought … though the tourists jumping up and down on the glass floor was a little disconcerting. For a true tall building experience, one must visit the 13-story-high capital in Lincoln, Nebraska. The land is so flat that you can see all the way to North Dakota.

Good lord, I know that place. Its in the Beaches area of Toronto!
Whacky sort of artsy people live there (but I guess that goes without saying)

It’s one of those shops by the looks, for the bored consumer or person who has everything

I look out at the CN Tower from my office window every day and have yet to be bored by it.

well when you put it like that I suppose the niagara falls is ok (on the canadian side), but the tower could be any modern day tower.
Don’t our Americanadian cousins across the pond have any sense of culture? As for tall things - well I prefer good old NYC.

I’m a bit surprised no one has mentioned Sydney Centerpoint tower. When I went up there I could see Chile
