friday night’s rage

May 12th, 2008 · 2 Comments

We don’t watch Friday’s Rage (ABC1) every week, I prefer Sat’s guest selection, but every once in a while we wade through about 4 hours of it on hard drive

I only liked about three songs, (not exactly new anymore) The Presets This Boy’s in Love, Hercules and Love Affair featuring Antony Blind, and finally this cheery one by The Gutter Twins (previously frontmen for The Screaming Trees and The Afghan Whigs), called Flowers/Misery (it’s a bit Velvet Underground-ish) from their album Saturnalia which is meant to be pretty good. Anyway a good one for those days you feel sad and dejected
