3. A kite

Rejection can be fun. Oh the merriment I had as I skipped down the lane with my friendly kite smiling down on me like a benevolent and mirthful paper god in the sky

You could say I felt as high as a kite but please don’t

You will need rejection letters, sticky tape, scissors, wooden skewers, string, ribbons, and a nice strong wind

    um…the suffocating, confining, letter-boxing words of rejection given the power of flight and soaring free as a bird in a clear, blue, endless sky
